Highlander: The Animated Series had a spinoff video game on the Atari Jaguar CD called Highlander: Last of the Macleods. Like the television show, the game follows Quentin Macleod as he travels to defeat Kortan and his goons to save the people of his village. The game was similar to Alone In The Dark where a character moves around a pre-rendered 3-D environment fighting enemies and solving puzzles. The game was plagued with horrible control, disrupting camera angles, and confusing instructions. Worst of all, it was sold for the Atari Jaguar CD, a badly designed and developed console, resulting in the game being near forgotten. |

"If Atari expected garbage like this to pass as a legitimate game, perhaps the company deserved its untimely fate." - The Video Game Critic, Video Game Critic.net |

"Basically, this is a Highlander game where no one is actually Scottish, the sword fighting sucks, you're not immortal, there are no decapitations, no quickenings, and basically no villain..." - Noah Antwiler, The Spoony Experiment |
